Steven Weinberg (American, b. 1954) Glass Cube Sculpture Cast and cut glass Rhode Island, late 20th/21st century The base cast with abstract architectural and geometric internal decoration, unmarked, some chips to base, approx. 9 x 9 x 9 in. Note: Weinberg is a two-time recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts grant and has been casting and cutting glass in his Rhode Island studio since 1979. His work is represented in the permanent collections of over fifty major public art museums around the world, including the Musee Des Artes Decoratifs at Palais du Louvre in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Smithsonian.
