Two Bilston Enameled-metal "Motto" Patch Boxes, the lids with interior mirrors, oval inscribed with "O Mortal Man in every Act Beware, Since one wrong step may mar an Age of care, Ever thy credit keep tis quickly gone To find by many Actions lost by one," and the other with inscription "Have communion with few, Be familiar with one, Deal justly with all, Speak evil of none. " Oval box: cracks and a repair to lid, mirror cracked, wear to interior consistent with age. Rectangular: cracks to lid, hairlines to interior, wear to base consistent with age.
