Suluyanov, assayer untraced, with Italian .800 silver guarantee mark for 1810-72, lobed lid, body, and foot, engraved with acanthus throughout, lid with finial formed as a cherub with a horn on cutwork base, body with carved fruitwood stem accented with pique and flanked by further cutwork, ht. 10 1/8 in.
