Queen Anne Birch Fall-front Desk, possibly New Hampshire, last half 18th century, the lid opens to a valanced interior of five drawers and case of four thumb-molded graduated drawers, on short cabriole legs ending in square pad feet joined by a valanced skirt, refinished, old brasses, (imperfections), ht. 43, wd. 33 1/2, dp. 16 1/4 in. some patching to pad feet, couple of glue blocks replaced, lid with two shrinkage cracks, hinges original but screws replaced, lock removed and plugged but escutcheon remains, patching to whole upper edge of top drawer thumbmolding, other drawers with more minor patching and loss.
