14kt Gold, Enamel, and Diamond Vanity Case, the two-color blue enamel case opening to reveal a lipstick and two compartments, baguette-cut diamond accents, 114. 5 dwt, no. 870, maker's mark for Schanfein & Tamis, New York, 3 x 2 in., together with an Edwardian silver and blue enamel case, (former with enamel losses). Gold case bearing Cartier signatures. Cartier New York has not been able to authenticate this case. Enamel with scratches and dings, a couple of edge chips, only down to metal in one small area.
