Arts & Crafts 14kt Gold, Pink Sapphire, and Diamond Ring, Edward Oakes, centering a cushion-cut pink sapphire measuring approx. 8.20 x 6.60 x 3.80 mm, flanked by full-cut diamond melee, in a scroll and foliate motif mount, size 4 1/2, maker's mark. Pink Sapphire Oakes Ring Light wear commensurate with age. Sapphire with facet wear, and one or two nicks to table, light scratchesonly visible under a loupe, and not noticeable when worn, small whitish inclusion near surface at one end, also not obtrusive, stone has a nice saturated color, side diamonds are white face up, but with dark inclusions. Shank is not decorated on the back and size could be increased. Signature is underneath shoulder and would not be disturbed.
