A Shoal of Sperm Whale. : Off the Island of Harwaii [ sic ] : In which the Ships Enterprise Wm. Roach Pocahontas & Hoqual , early 20th century reproduction, after the painting by Thomas Birch from a sketch by C.B. Hulsart, engraved, printed, and colored by J. Hill, published by Hulsart. Identified in inscriptions in the matrix, hand-colored lithograph on paper, sheet size 19 3/4 x 26 5/8 in., in a carved and molded wood frame. Condition: Margins of 1 1/2 in. or more, lower margin trimmed, with loss of remainder of title and text, minor toning and creases. Eight subtle vertical creases, and several other subtle creases primarily in margins, light moisture stains on margin edges.
