Chinese, 20th century (possibly earlier). A Chinese scroll painting on rice paper depicting an interior figural scene with clusters of men and women engaging in conversation and music playing, including a woman speaking to a seated elder or priest. A woven silk border green foliate patterning surrounds the painting. Marks in red are on either end of the composition. 20.75" x 64.5"
