19th century. A miniature two-sided painting, likely on ivory, depicting on one side the Madonna draped in blue with downcast eyes and hands in prayer position and blue starred halo surround her head, and on the other side a depiction of God in three forms, The Father holding a scepter, The Son exhibiting the Stigmata, and The Holy Spirit holding a dove. Painting is displayed behind domed glass in a brass pendant with a twisted gadroon band. Approximately 2.25" tall.
