Johannes Cornelis Haccou (Dutch, 1798-1839) Animated Winter Scene with Skaters. Signed "J.C. Haccou" l.l., inscribed "Haccou" and "patineurs" on the mat, with a label from Georges Mayer, Paris, on the frame backing. Watercolor on paper, 14 7/8 x 17 3/8 in. (37.7 x 44.1 cm), framed. Condition: Toning, staining, subtle rippling, vertical crease through center, handling creases, hinged at top reverse to a hand-painted French mat.
