Continental. 20th Century. Pair of Regency style toile piente, parcel gilt decorated cast iron 9 light chandeliers, both with arched scrolled corona hung with six pear shaped drops over a hexagonal shaped standard issuing a a tier of three scrolled candlearms terminating in acanthus shaped candlecups alternating with scrolled arms each hung with a faceted crystal, the lower part of the stem united by a large concave tier mounted with six acanthus shaped candlecups, all lights mounted with tole and parcel gilt decorated hexagonal shaped shades and the whole painted in parcel gilt anthemion decoration and hung with draping strands of crystals, the foliate shaped base terminating in a faceted ball drop.
