Small "Treasure" Chest, Tibet, 20th century, rectangular, polychrome on wood, the front panel carved in relief with a pair of tigers and a pair of Buddhist lions amidst foliage and pearls, the back depicting two pairs of pheasants perched beneath trees, the sides decorated with blossoms each within a diamond-shaped reserve, the hinged cover carved with a central stylized lotus flower surrounded by clouds, with metal handles and hardware, 8 x 12 1/4 x 6 1/2 in.
