Manner of Caspar Netscher (Dutch, 1639-1684), "Portrait of an Elegant Woman with Orange Tree", oil on canvas, apparently unsigned. Figural portrait (18th/19th century) depicting a young elegant woman in a red dress with white trim in an outdoor Neoclassical garden setting holding an orange freshly picked from the orange tree (with fruit and white floral blossoms) at her side planted in figural urn. Figural statuary in background at left. Unframed approximately 50.25" x 40".
