Two Columbian Exposition Printed Cotton Souvenir Textiles, a handkerchief printed in red and white on a natural-colored ground depicting nine reserves with figures and scenes commemorating the event, approx. 23 x 28; and a length of fabric with repeating red, white, and blue pattern depicting scenes of the landing of Columbus, bust of Washington, small map of the New World, and the Statue of Liberty against a striped background with stars inscribed with the names of individual states, 54 x 23 1/2 in. Note: The World's Columbian Exposition was held in Chicago, in celebration of the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus's landing in America (1492-1892).
