Four Sixth-plate Early Photography Portraits, a daguerreotype of an elderly woman, seated with her arm resting on a table with hand to cheek, the brass mat impressed "BALL & THOMAS," probably Cincinnati, Ohio; two ambrotypes: one of a young woman wearing a fur collar, and one of a young bearded gentleman; and a tintype of a young woman identified as "Euphemia Wyeth Smith/Mrs. John Lansden," on a paper enclosed in the case, mounted in eight-sided "The Chess Players," "Geometric/Scroll," "Geometric/Scroll," and "Scroll/Geometric" (Krainik 134, 362, 347, 356, respectively) Union cases, (imperfections).
