Silver-mounted and Cased Glass Tankard, possibly Prussia, silver lid with a thumb-piece modeled as a standing peasant woman and engraved with floral scrolls, bearing marks for Liegnitz, Prussia, probably mid to late 18th century; on a ruby cut-to-clear overlay glass tankard with parcel-gilt detailing to rim and body, ht. to thumb-piece 7 in. Figural thumb-piece slightly loose (can probably be tightened). Polished chip to foot. Several small scattered checks to glass. Scattered loss to gilding. RIms of silver barrel worn.
