Manner of Adriaen Brouwer (Flemish, 1606-1638) Figures at a Tavern Table Unsigned. Oil on panel, 11 7/8 x 15 7/8 in. (30.2 x 40.2 cm), framed. Condition: Retouch, craquelure, discolored varnish, frame abrasion. N.B. The composition of this work, particularly in the placement of the figures, relates to a painting by Adriaen Brouwer titled Interior of a Smoking Room in the collection of the Louvre. Based upon the age of the wood panel, the work at hand appears to be 19th century. Slight warp to panel. Retouch primarily to edges.
