Russian Icon Depicting The Sign Mother of God, 19th/20th century, shown with both hands raised and with Christ Child in the center with one hand raised in blessing, encased within a metal riza and each figure with a projecting gilt halo, her halo mounted with five ruby pastes, 11 3/4 x 10 in. Painted surfaces with craquelure and scattered loss to Christ's raised hand. Metal riza surface wear and an abrasion to the bottom edge.
