Five Air-twist Stem Wineglasses, England, c. 1750, one with a round funnel bowl on a double-series stem and conical foot, ht. 6, the remaining four with single-series double corkscrew stems: one with a trumpet bowl and conical foot, ht. 6 1/4, another with a round funnel bowl on a mercury twist stem and conical foot, ht. 6, the third with a molded ogee bowl and conical foot with folded rim, ht. 5 7/8, the last with ogee bowl engraved with a fruiting grapevine and a bird, on a conical foot, ht. 6 1/4 in. Molded ogee: Chip ground out of foot rim. Engraved ogee: Repair at join of bowl to stem. Each with scattered light surface abrasions/usage wear to bowl interiors.
