Porcelain Figure Group Designed by Gerhard Henning for Royal Copenhagen, Denmark, mid-20th century, Fairytale III figure group, with painted factory marks, incised "1664," and designer's painted mark and monogram; modeled as a seated and turbaned gentleman supporting a reclining nude woman in his lap, on a gilded oval base, ht. 8 in. In overall good condition with no chips, cracks, losses or repairs. Only very minor rubbing to painting on the top of the turban.
