Continental Marble-top Fruitwood Veneered Commode, late 19th century/early 20th century, the rectangular top over case fitted with three long drawers with brass pulls and shield-form key escutcheons, the stiles and drawer fronts with inlaid and ebonized geometric elements, on square feet, case only ht. 32 1/2, wd. 45, dp. 21 1/4 in. Marble top not original. Flaking to faux ebony. Gouge and loss to veneer to upper left side. Shrinkage cracks.
