Neoclassical Carved Giltwood Cheval Mirror, 19th century, the rectangular mirror with arched top and reticulated crest carved with a flaming torch, arrow-filled quiver, and ribband, the frame with guilloche and leaf tip carving, on stand with acorn finials above columnar supports and shoe feet, with laurel and acanthus carving, approx. ht. 81 in. Extensive damage, repairs and regilding to stand. Knobs replaced. Very unstable. Frame with minor chips, cracks, and regilding to frame, mirror replaced and rebacked.
