After Vincenzo Gemito (Italian, 1852-1929) L'Acquaiolo, the bronze cast as a nude boy with a jug propped on his hip and offering a drink of water, over a Neoclassical fountain, dark brown/black patina, reverse inscribed "DALL ORIGINALE/PROPTA DEL REDI NAPOLI/SM FRANCESCO II/NAPOLI CEMITO" and "PROPRIETA ARTISTICA," ht. 21 3/4 in. One leg with repair at calf. Scattered surface abrasions (no loss to patina).
