After George van der Straeten (Belgian, 1856-1928) Cherries, the Art Nouveau bronze cast as a woman holding cherries in her teeth, with copper-colored and verdigris patina, incised "Van Der Straeten," with "Societe des Bronzes de Paris" stamp, and impressed "SL" and "C," on a rouge marble base, bronze ht. 8 1/8 in. Light surface abrasion to shoulder. Professionally repaired crack and small chips to marble.
