Vienna Parcel-gilt Porcelain Vase, late 19th/early 20th century, balustroid with a cobalt ground, gilt registers, and gilt eagle-form scrolled handles; painted to each side with an interior scene with children and other figures labeled to one side "UNVERHOFTER BESUCH," and the other "NIKOLAUSFEST," each signed "J. Gunt Wien." on a flared foot further raised on cylindrical pedestal with three painted registers: an interior with two seated men and a couple numbered "333," an interior with four figures and a chimney signed "F. DAHN." and numbered "1760," and the last with four figures and a dog outside numbered "1326;" underside with underglaze mark "FD" within a shield cartouche with "Vienna" above and "Austria" below, ht. 27 1/4 in. Slight rubbing to gilding on both eagle handles, one with firing flaw to underside (not visible from front). Very faint abrasion to center of interior scene. Abrasions around joint between narrow area of base and lower platform. Scattered rubbing to gilding on base.
