Russian Folk Triptych of the Crucifixion, 20th century, hinged side panels each with two scenes framed within gilded panels, the central scene with a recessed and repousse metal-mounted crucifix, flanked by painted figures, ht. 12 3/4, wd. open 17 5/8, closed 8 3/4 in. Scattered retocuhing throughout. Panel with possibly intentional abrasions and stained. Slight nicks to edges and area around hinges. Craquelure. Some scattered flaking to paint.
