Russian Icon Depicting the Mother of God, Houli, 19th/20th century, shown with Christ seated on her arm, both with gilt crowns and halos, on a yellow background with an orange border, incised inscription to reverse, 16 1/8 x 12 3/4 in. Craquelure. Slight varnish inconsistencies. Panel made of two borders glued (with very small visible seam to the bottom painted surface). Missing wedges. Surface abrasions and nicks to edges of the back panel.
