Bronze Elephant Clock, France, 19th century, a Chinaman seated atop the clock with porcelain enamel Roman numeral dial and the lower base of the clock modeled as a riding saddle for the elephant below, all on an organic-form molded platform with four scrolled feet, ht. 21 1/2, wd. 16 1/2, dp. 9 in. Loose joint to front right scrolled off shoot from chinaman's seat. Elephant with painted faux-patination with some flakes to head and streaks to bottom. Roman numeral II has faded. Clock not guaranteed to be in working order.
