Five Double-series Opaque-twist Stem Wine Glasses, England, c. 1770, all with ogee bowls and a multi-ply spiral band outside a pair of heavy spiral threads on conical feet; three with molded bowls: one fluted, ht. 6 1/8, one with curved fluting, ht. 5 5/8, and the third with diamond-form molding, ht. 6 3/8; one with a slightly flared rim, ht. 6, and the fifth glass, ht. 5 7/8 in. Flared rim glass with slight abrasion to underside of the foot. Fluted bowl glass with eight small nicks to rim of foot. All others in otherwise good condition with no chips, cracks or restorations.
