Four Double-series Opaque-twist Stem Wine Glasses, England, c. 1770, two with molded ogee bowls and a heavy corkscrew outside gauze stems on conical feet: one with a flared rim, ht. 6 1/16, the other, ht. 5 15/16; one with an ogee bowl engraved with a long-stemmed rose and a bird with a pair of heavy thread spirals outside loose gauze stem on a conical foot, ht. 5 3/8; and with a round funnel bowl with a pair of spiral threads outside gauze stem on a conical foot, ht. 5 3/4 in. Molded bowl glass with the flare to rim with two small chips and two smaller nicks to the rim of the foot. Glass with engraving: engraving possibly later. Others in good overall condition with no chips, cracks or restorations.
