Russian Icon Depicting Christ the Pantocrator, 19th century, shown with one hand raised in blessing and the other holding an open book of Gospels, with a gilt halo on an orange ground with a brown border, 14 1/8 x 12 1/4 in. Panel warped with both wedges removed and a related vertical crack extending down the front of the panel and slightly visable through the painted surface (retouched) about 3/4 the way down. Craquelure.
