Four Wedgwood Caneware Items, England, 18th and 19th century, an encaustic decorated bamboo-molded cream jug, oval form decorated with white and blue enamels, lg. 4 3/4; an engine-turned custard cup and cover, ht. 2 1/2; a covered sugar bowl with applied drab fruiting grapevine banding, ht. 5 3/4 in.; and a smear-glazed teacup and saucer with white prunus; impressed marks. Cream jug: Shallow 1/4" chip to the side of the rim. Cup and cover: Staining to the side of the cup; slight nick along the footrim. Sugar bowl: Nick to the edge of the cover. Tea cup & saucer: 1" hairline to cup.
