Victor Vasarely (Hungarian/French, 1908-1997) Torony II , 1988, edition of 175, published by Circle Gallery, New York. Signed "Vasarely-" in ink l.l. and numbered "17/175" in ink l.r. Hand-painted acrylic on wood, 24 3/8 x 18 x 2 7/8 in. (61.9 x 45.7 x 7.3 cm). Condition: Minor abrasions to edges, fading to signature, small repair to one corner of base. Provenance: Acquired from Circle Gallery, New York, c. May 11, 1987; private collection.
