Lynda Benglis (American, b. 1941) Two Abstract Works: Untitled [Orange Green and Blue] and Untitled [Black] Orange signed and dated "L Benglis 03" in pencil l.r., Black signed "L. Benglis" in pencil l.r., dedicated "For Rose and Carl Love Lynda Christmas '93" in pencil on the reverse. Pigmented encaustic wax on wove paper, Orange 9 1/2 x 7 in. (24.1 x 17.8 cm), Black 10 x 7 1/4 in. (25.4 x 18.4 cm), both framed. Condition: Orange tape hinged to backing mat; Black with tack holes to l.r. and u.l. corners. Provenance: Gift from the artist; to a private Massachusetts collection.
