Antoine-Louis Barye (French, 1795-1875) Tigre qui marche (sur plinthe) [Walking Tiger (On a Plinth)] Signed "BARYE" within the cast by the tiger's back right foot, marked "F. BARBEDIENNE.Fondeur." on the base behind the tiger's back left foot. Bronze with dark green and brown patina, 8 3/8 x 16 1/4 x 4 in. (21.3 x 41.3 x 10.2 cm).
