Turman/1938" l.l., titled, inscribed, signed, and dated "...Terre Haute, Ind./..." on the reverse, identified on a label from the Hoosier Salon Exhibition, 1939, affixed to the reverse. Oil on Masonite, 24 x 29 in. (61.0 x 73.7 cm), framed. Condition: Mild surface grime. Exhibitions: Hoosier Salon Exhibition, organized by the Daughters of Indiana and held at Marshall Field and Company Gallery in Chicago, January 28-February 11, 1939.
