Blood Beaded Cloth Bandolier Bag/Horse Collar, c. late 19th century, beaded on canvas, red trade cloth, and with cloth edging and detail, the strap and pouch with multicolored geometric designs, further decorated with pony beaded fringe, a row of nickel-plated brass studs, and brass bell danglers from the bottom, lg. 37, wd. 16 1/2 in. Provenance: Collected by the present owner's great-grandfather, George Holley, who worked on the Blood Indian Reserve in southern Alberta, Canada, circa 1900-1910.
