Abraham Munting (Dutch, 1626-1683). "Hemionitis Crispa Media Obtusifolia (Fig. 83)" and "Herba Viva Chinensis Arborescens (Fig. 178)", hand colored copperplate engravings, each being plates from "Naauwkeurige Beschryving Der Aardgewassen (Accurate Description of Terrestrial Plants)" published in the Netherlands by Pieter van der Aa and Francois Halma in 1696. Each engraving depicting the plant in a terra cotta vase surrounded by figures and architecture in a landscape. Framed approximately 22 3/8" x 17 1/2", sight size approximately 13 7/8" x 9".
