Italy, circa 1940s. Venetian etched pier mirror and console, both mounted on black wood and comprised of numerous pieces of cut, frosted, beveled and notched glass. The mirror surmounted with opposing c-scroll, cabochon and foliate cresting with foliate etched decoration over rectangular beveled plate within cushion notched and molded frame. The console with black glass beveled edge over a notched and foliate etched frieze supported by two architectural shaped panels with recessed mirrored etched back. Mirror height 80", width 25". Console height 22.25", width 25.25", depth 13.25.
