Central Plains Beaded and Quilled Hide Pipe Bag, Lakota, last quarter 19th century, the soft hide bag with roll-beaded opening and two lanes of beadwork down each side to the panel, the panel with multicolored geometric devices on a turquoise blue ground, tin cone and horsehair danglers, polychrome quill-wrapped rawhide slats with fringe from the bottom, traces of yellow pigment, lg. 36 in.
