Two Wool Hooked Rugs, America, late 19th century, a runner hooked with wool fabric strips and yarn, with light blue and orange blossoms in an oval reserve flanked by cornucopia issuing similarly hued blossoms on a tan ground, with variegated dark green and rust, and solid dark green borders; the other a large Oriental-style rug centered with a cruciform oval medallion with rose, blue, and dark green paisley motifs on a tan field, surrounded by floral and paisley borders in rose, blue, yellow, gold, and dark green, (fading on the first rug, scattered areas of wear to backing on second), 32 x 81, 72 x 84 in.
