Caged singing bird automaton with diminutive feathered bird perched on gilt metal stand within a brass wire cage with gilt bronze urn form finial with floral arrangement accented with two small diamonds. Wire cage resting on a base with figural chinoiserie decoration in ribboned medallions on black ground. Overall raised on four gilt toupee feet. Accompanied with winding key. Automaton appears to be in working order. Height 11.6", width 5.5", depth 4.5"._x000D_
