Federal Mahogany Inlaid Commode, probably Massachusetts, c. 1805, the rectangular hinged top with inlaid edge and attached faux drawer front with oval crotch mahogany panel bordered by stringing and mitered border opening to a pierced seat above two faux string-inlaid drawers with ivory diamond escutcheons all on slightly flaring French feet joined by shaped skirt with inlaid crossbanding, original brasses, old refinish, (minor imperfections), ht. 27 1/2, wd. 23, dp. 16 1/2 in.
