Federal Mahogany Inlaid Tall Case Clock, probably New Jersey, c. 1800, the pagoda top centering an inlaid oval with flanking geometric plinths topped by brass finials above the glazed tombstone door enclosing a polychrome and gilt iron dial with moon phase indicator, seconds hand, and calendar aperture, inscribed "Isaac Brokaw, Bridgetown," and eight-day brass weight-driven movement, all flanked by freestanding columns above the waist with frieze of geometric panels and shaped tombstone door topped by a fan above a sheaf of wheat within an oval bordered by stringing and crossbanding and quarter-fans, flanked by reeded quarter-columns with inlaid plinths on cove-molded base centering an oval inlaid sailing ship bordered by banding, quarter-fans, stringing, and crossbanding, all on flaring French feet, refinished, (restoration), ht. 91 in.
