English, Late19th/Early 20th century. Mahogany wood sedan clock with glazed round hinged cover protecting white enamel dial with black Roman numerals marked "WILL'M TRIGGS.", possibly for retailer. Brass mounts throughout winged eagle at top of pointed arch with resting Egyptian style sphinx, beaded and twisted borders, turned shafts and ball finials, overall raised on four lion's paw feet. Movement with ornate engraving with basket of flowers and arabesques with "Jn. White LONDON" and "No.855". Approximate height 14.25", width 10.125", depth 4".
