Mandoline Musical Box by Bremond, No. 1496118, playing six operatic airs by Rossini, Bellini, Meyerbeer and others, with mandoline teeth arranged in groups of up to five, flat-topped winding lever, tune-sheet, and engine-turned hinges and lock, in rosewood veneered case with red interior, rounded corners and floral inlay to front and lid, wd. 20 in., cylinder 13 in., (good playing condition). Note: The tunes are Le Barbier de Seville, Waltz de l'Universite, L'Africaine, Guillaume Tell, Le Telegraphe Galop, and La Norma, Cavatina, Casta Diva.
