Mandoline Overture Musical Box by Bremond, No. 18281, playing four airs, the governor-cock stamped BAB , with groups of mandoline teeth (up to four) at intervals throughout the comb, eight-step cam, combined change / repeat and tune selector, in burr-walnut veneered case with boxwood stringing, domed lid, ebonized borders and inner lid with fretwork corners, wd. 26 in., cylinder 13 x 3 1/4 in. diam. Note: The comb contains approximately contains approximately 150 teeth, and tunes are pinned to play for slightly over two minutes. The movement is in good restored condition.
