Two Small Bisque Head Baby Dolls, Germany, early 20th century, both probably Hertel & Schwab, both with bent limb composition baby bodies, one with blue-gray sleeping eyes, open mouth, two inset upper teeth, molded tongue on lower lip, fly-away eyebrows, impressed 152 mark, blonde mohair wig; one a painted eye character baby impressed 159 0 1/2, expressive open closed mouth, solid dome with wispy painted hair, both dressed in long white baby garments (some damages to fabric), lg. 9 - 10 in.
