Westwood, Wheeling, West Virginia, assignor of one third to Andrew Reitz , March 30, 1878, with laminated oak and elm "floor" and rising cupboard with pierced metal sides, operated from below by weight-driven pulleys, ht. extended 13 in., with patent and receiving tags and facsimile papers. Note: "This elevating-cupboard is designed for use in the cellar, or suitable elevation below the floor of the kitchen or dining-room, and when down the top of said cupboard is flush with the floor."
