Figural oil painting depicting a large number of pilgrims traveling on foot and horseback on the Via de la Plata route running from Seville to Santiago de Compostela. Tent temporary structures set up along dirt road in grassy field. Verso inscribed "R. BENITO ROMERIA-SEVILLA 1888". Framed approximately 16.75" x 28.75". Unframed approximately 10.6" x 22.6".
